Queen Wilhelmina State
Park
The crown jewel of Mena's
attractions lies 13 miles northwest of town along the
Talimena Scenic Drive. "The Castle in the Clouds"
attracts thousands each year. Its views are
spectacular, and, true to its name, makes guests feel
like visiting royalty. The "Queen" hosts popular
events such as the Rod Run and Mountain Fest.
Mena Depot
The depot serves a the
focal point and most recognizable building of Mena.
Built in 1920, the beautifully restored train depot
greets visitors as they travel Hwy 71. It now
houses the Chamber of Commerce and a travel agency.
Take a tour of the historical museum, see the art
exhibit or take a picture next to the 1939 Dodge police
car.
Cossatot River State Park
Natural Area.
The park's vivid
combination of natural vegetation, rugged topography,
exposed rock formations, & rugged river corridor make it
something to see! Check out the interactive
exhibits that tell the history of the area. For

Rides
All aboard! Take in
the panoramic scenic beauty atop Rich Mountain on one of
the area's top attractions! The flowers, foliage,
wildlife, and clean, mountain air will bring you back to

Talimena Scenic
Byway
The byway offers 54 miles
of spectacular views and breath-taking scenery.
Particularly popular during the Autumn season for its
awesome colors, the drive can be enjoyed by families,
outdoor enthusiasts, nature lovers or just those who
enjoy beauty in its purest state.
Janssen Park
Ten-acre park hosts an
1851 log cabin listed on the National Register of
historical places, two spring fed ponds, two mountain
howitzer cannons, a memorial honoring T. Texas Tyler,
and lots of green space for relaxing. Located in
the heart of downtown Mena.

Search for the perfect
souvenir or your piece of history at one of Mena's many
antique dealers. Many of them are as interesting
as the artifacts they carry!
Ansata Arabian Stud
Ranch
For 4 decades, Ansata has
provided Egyptian-Arabian bloodstock to royalty,
government, and private stud farms world wide.
Like Pharaoh's horses, Ansata's horses are admired for
stamina, beauty, nobility, courage, and speed.
Tours are available of this magnificent facility but

Ouachita Little
Theatre
Be entertained by local
actors and play writes in fabulous performances
throughout the year. Located in the restored Lyric
Theater across from the SouthWest Artist Gallery on Mena
Street.
Restored Esso Gas
Station
This restored 1928 station
is a museum housing rare muscle, classic, and antique
cars, street rods, and motorcycles and other
memorabilia. Located on Mena Street.
